TV Rep’s Questions Spark Marcin Kierwiński’s Sharp Rebuttal

On Nov. 22, Polish Defence Minister Marcin Kierwiński blasted TV Rep’s questions as “stupid PiS propaganda”, accusing the outlet of repeating lies and demanding a stop.

TV Rep’s Inquiry on Sabotage and FSB Links

During a Saturday press briefing, a TV Rep employee reminded the defence minister of railway sabotage incidents and asked what steps the government had taken to prevent such events, questioning foreign services operating in Poland and inquiring about the elimination of Russian intelligence assets. He also noted that some people with disclosed contacts with the FSB were in senior positions at the broadcast station.

Minister’s Immediate Counter‑Attack

Marking each of the questions as false, Marcin Kierwiński called them “every sentence is a lie, every sentence is propaganda” and told the employee to wear a PiS‑branded cap next time. He accused the presenter of repeating false claims and declined to be silent because the presence of generals prevented him from expressing his true opinion of the so‑called PiS propaganda.

Criticism of TV Rep Staff

When a TV Rep staff member asked for clarification, the minister retorted that the employee had no right to decide whom he considered an idol and reminded that 70 people were detained in recent months for espionage or sabotage—evidence of the efficiency of Polish special services.

Condemnation of Mariusz Błaszczak

Kierwiński urged an end to attacks on uniformed personnel, blamed Błaszczak for failing to locate a rocket that landed in Poland, and noted that within 72 hours the perpetrators had been identified.
