Two Arrested in Dacia Break-in Attempt

Two suspects, including a Ukrainian national, have been arrested for attempting to steal a Dacia Lodgy by breaking in.

Arrests Made in Dacia Theft Attempt

One suspect was caught by patrol officers in the act of attempting to steal a Dacia Lodgy by breaking in and was immediately arrested. The second suspect, a 25-year-old Ukrainian citizen, was identified and detained by officers from the “Cobra” tactical unit. Both suspects face charges that carry a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

Investigation Details

The case was transferred to the Department for Combating Car Crime after the initial arrest. Police from the “Cobra” group conducted further investigation and located the second suspect, who had been in hiding. During his arrest, the Ukrainian national admitted he knew police were looking for him in connection with the incident.

Case Status and Supervision

Based on evidence collected, the second suspect was charged with attempted joint theft of a car by breaking in and, like his accomplice, was placed in pretrial detention. The proceedings are supervised by the Warsaw-Praga South District Prosecutor’s Office.
