Radom City Police received a report of an accident on Radomska Street in Makowcu (Radom County) at approximately 10:30 PM yesterday. Preliminary findings indicate that the 19-year-old BMW driver, while overtaking another BMW, lost control and collided with an oncoming Volvo truck.
A second passenger vehicle impacted a lighting pole.
Driver Intoxication
The 19-year-old was taken to the hospital. Police on the scene checked the sobriety of those involved; the 23-year-old truck driver was sober, while the 41-year-old passenger car driver had a blood alcohol content of 0.5 per mille. The man was detained in police holding cells.
