Two-Car Collision on DW731 Leaves Two Injured; Helicopter Dispatched

A serious accident involving two passenger cars on provincial road DW731 in Dębowola, Grójec County, injured both drivers and prompted a helicopter rescue.

Accident Details

A serious accident occurred on provincial road number 731 in the town of Dębowola, Grójec County, involving two passenger cars. One of the vehicles overturned and ended up in a ditch.

The incident took place at 6:01 PM. According to Junior Sergeant Michał Maroszek, spokesperson for the District Commander of the State Fire Service in Grójec, two passenger cars collided on DW731 in Dębowola. Following the collision, one vehicle rolled onto its roof and landed in a ditch. Both drivers were injured and transported to the hospital. The helicopter departed for Warsaw without a patient.

Emergency Response

Significant rescue forces were dispatched to the scene, including four fire department crews – two from the Rescue and Firefighting Unit and two from the Volunteer Fire Brigade – as well as a medical rescue team and the crew of the Air Ambulance (Ratownik12).

Road Closure and Investigation

Provincial road number 731 was completely blocked during the emergency operations. Rescue activities were carried out at the scene, along with securing the damaged vehicles and the accident area.

Ongoing Police Investigation

Police are conducting further investigations to determine the exact causes and circumstances of the accident.
