A tragic accident occurred after 9:00 AM on the Rataja Street viaduct in Płock. A Renault passenger car veered off the road, struck the protective barriers, and plunged more than ten meters below.
Failed Rescue Operation
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene immediately. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to extract a trapped individual, while paramedics attempted to provide life-saving treatment.
Victims Confirmed
Despite the intensive rescue efforts, both occupants of the vehicle—a 28-year-old driver and a 35-year-old passenger—died from their injuries. The fatal trauma resulted directly from the vehicle’s descent from the viaduct.
