Accident Details
Yesterday on the W618 road in Wielątki Rosochate (Wyszkowski County), a road accident occurred where two people with injuries were transported to the hospital. The perpetrator left the scene of the accident.
Police Investigation
Police officers from the Criminal Department of the Wyszkow County Police Station are conducting proceedings in the case of the road incident that occurred yesterday (March 15) around 8:45 AM on the W618 road in Wielątki Rosochate (Gmina Somianka).
Accident Circumstances
As initially determined by police officers working at the scene, the incident occurred on a straight section of the road. The female driver of a Mitsubishi (34 years old), driving toward Wyszkow, while performing an overtaking maneuver, noticed that another driver also began to overtake without ensuring it was safe to do so. As a result, the 34-year-old was forced to move onto the left shoulder and then into a roadside ditch. After the incident, the driver left the scene without providing assistance to the woman and her 12-year-old passenger. Both were transported to the hospital with injuries.
