The accident occurred on Thursday, May 21, at 7:40 p.m. on provincial road No. 630, specifically on Wojska Polskiego Street within the Osiedlu Młodych residential area. The two victims were struck while using a marked pedestrian crossing near building number 43.

According to Aspirant Kamil Sobótka of the Metropolitan Police Headquarters, the victims are two male Ukrainian citizens, aged 16 and 18. The vehicle involved was a Hyundai driven by a 48-year-old Polish citizen, who was determined to be sober at the time of the collision.

Police, fire services, and medical rescue teams were dispatched to the site, including the Ratownik 12 air ambulance from Warsaw. Units from the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki Fire Brigade and the local Volunteer Fire Department provided first aid, wound dressing, and psychological support until medical teams arrived.
