A Toyota traveling from the S8 route attempted a left turn on a green light, while a Nissan driven by a woman was traveling straight from the direction of Popiełuszki Street, also on a green signal.

Preliminary findings indicate the Toyota driver, a foreign national, failed to yield the right-of-way while turning left. The impact forced both vehicles off the roadway onto a nearby green area, causing damage to perimeter fencing.
