Ukraine’s Attack on Russia
Last night, Ukrainian drones, including Neptune missiles and turbojet drone pods (Bars), struck six Russian regions and the occupied Crimea, according to statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The strikes hit oil‑processing infrastructure and military sites.
Russian defence officials said the attacks also targeted an oil terminal in Novorossiysk and a refinery in Tuapse, damaging a paint‑production facility, multi‑story houses, and several single‑family homes. A fire was reported near a runway close to an aviation facility, and about 20 buildings were damaged in Krasnodar Krai, with similar damage noted in Kabardino‑Balkaria. Video footage of the attacks has been posted online.
Flying Laboratory Destroyed
Ukrainian forces claim that in Taganrog, Rostov region, they struck a repair plant and the aircraft manufacturer Molnija, causing explosions and fires. The attack reportedly damaged the experimental A‑60 Ladoga laser‑lab aircraft at the G. M. Beriyev Aviation Science‑Technical Complex (TANTK).
Images posted online document the damage, and Ukrainian officials say the company normally undertakes repair and modernization of early‑warning A‑50s and Tu‑95MS strategic bombers.
Further Casualties
Preliminary reports indicate that three people died and several others were injured in Taganrog. The Rostov governor, Yuri Shulyar, relayed the information.
In retaliation, Russian forces fired over 20 missiles and more than 400 drones toward Ukraine at night and dawn, causing damage and civilian casualties.
