On Friday, January 23, two-day peace talks between Ukraine, Russia, and USA will begin in Abu Dhabi. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski spoke to journalists about the meeting. – The Donbas issue is key. USA Delegation Led by Trump Special Envoy
During the talks in Abu Dhabi, the United States will be represented by, among others, Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Witkoff and Kushner flew to the United Arab Emirates for talks with Vladimir Putin, which took place in Moscow.
Russian and Ukrainian Delegations for Peace Talks in Abu Dhabi
Head of Russia’s military intelligence GRU Igor Kostiukov will head the Russian delegation in Abu Dhabi. It will also include representatives of Russia’s Ministry of Defense. Ukraine will be represented by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerow, Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanow, his deputy Serhij Kyslytsia, Chief of the General Staff Andrij Hnatow, and Dawid Arachamia, chairman of the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party, founded by Zelensky.
