Ukrainian Arrested After Fleeing Stolen Opel Into Ditch

A 34‑year‑old Ukrainian citizen was taken into custody after he stole an Opel Corsa and crashed into a ditch on national road 92 near Paprotnia, following a police chase that began at Kożuszki‑Parcel.

Crime in Kożuszki‑Parcel

At about 15:30, officers in Kożuszki‑Parcel, Sochaczew county, reported a stolen Opel. The thief, a 34‑year‑old Ukrainian, was identified during the investigation.

Police Interception and Pursuit

While enacting a routine patrol, police observed the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop it for a traffic check. The driver ignored the officers and began fleeing the scene.

Crash into Ditch on National Road 92

During the escape, the suspect entered a ditch on the DK92 in Paprotnia, where he was stopped and seized by law enforcement officers.

Official Police Statement

According to the Sochaczew Police Command, the incident was reported immediately to duty officers, who communicated with patrols on duty. Law enforcement officers chased the vehicle in the municipality of Teresin before apprehending the driver on the national road 92. The 34‑year‑old Ukrainian was transported to a hospital for blood tests. Police remain on site, and the road suffered no disruptions following the event.
