Ukrainian Arrested in Warsaw for Fake ID and Bulk Drugs

A 34‑year‑old Ukrainian citizen was arrested in Warsaw’s Ursynów district after police seized a large number of drugs and a counterfeit identity card.

Drug Seizure at Interrogation

A 34‑year‑old Ukrainian was found carrying 72 foil packets containing cannabis, amphetamine, mephedrone and MDMA tablets. The suspect initially tried to flee and showed signs of intoxication.

Forged Identification Discovered

During verification officers noted that the ID bore the suspect’s photo but listed Czech Republic citizenship; investigators quickly deemed the document fake.

Temporary Detention and Charges

The suspect was booked into a police cell and charged with possession of a substantial amount of psychotropic substances and use of a counterfeit ID, subject to a three‑month provisional arrest.

Police Action Precludes Drug Distribution

The swift intervention prevented another individual linked to drug trafficking from entering the market.
