In a recent arrest, Warsaw detectives seized a 29‑year‑old Ukrainian citizen accused of forging documents, wielding false identities, and possessing over 71 kilograms of drugs.
Arrest and Evidence
— 29-year-old Ukrainian man, known as the “Ghost,” was apprehended by Warsaw’s Śródmieście police unit. Over 71 kilograms of drugs, valued at nearly 5 million zloty, were seized from his apartment.
Vehicle Seizures and Theft
— Officers seized a total of five cars; two were stolen and two were rented under fabricated names. A Range Rover stolen in the UK and a Jaguar taken from Warsaw two years ago were among them.
Extensive Forgery and Identity Fabrication
— The suspect produced counterfeit passports, residence permits, vehicle contracts, credit cards, and a falsified patent for a “Sternika Motorowodny.” He even used fake data when filing a traffic‑collision report.
Legal Proceedings and Potential Sentence
— Facing charges of drug possession, use of false documents, identity fraud and forgery, the court granted a provisional three‑month detention. If convicted, he could receive up to ten years in prison.
Investigation Oversight
— The initial investigation was supervised by the Warsaw‑Ursynów District Prosecutor’s Office and is now under the jurisdiction of the Warsaw Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
