Unconscious cyclist airlifted to hospital after collision with car

A cyclist lost consciousness in a serious crash with a Toyota in Raszyn, Warsaw, on September 25, requiring medical evacuation.

Collision on Krakowska Avenue

Around 8:00 PM on September 25, a cyclist collided head-on with a private Toyota on a side lane of Krakowska Avenue in Raszyn, Pruszkow County. The injured man was unconscious but maintained basic vital functions and was treated by medical personnel.

Emergency response and transport

Emergency services, including firefighters, paramedics, police, and an air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene. The unconscious man received initial treatment before being transported to a nearby shopping center to await the air ambulance.

The helicopter landed, and a doctor took over the patient’s care, ultimately deciding on ground transport. The man was taken by ambulance to a Warsaw hospital, while the helicopter left without the patient.

Police investigation

Police secured the accident site, managed traffic, and conducted procedural activities. They are investigating the crash’s circumstances and the victim’s identity, documenting evidence and gathering witness statements.
