Initial reports indicate the object was likely a mortar shell fuse. Authorities were immediately notified, securing the area and initiating safety protocols.

Police and Sappers Respond

Warsaw city police confirmed the incident, stating that officers secured the area after the discovery. A decision was made to evacuate residents from two nearby buildings.

A bomb disposal unit was dispatched to the scene to retrieve and neutralize the dangerous item. The operation lasted several hours, preventing residents from returning to their homes.

Ordnance Removed, Residents Return

Sappers successfully retrieved the object around 4:50 PM. After confirming the area was safe, residents were allowed to return to their apartments.
