Unlicensed 16-Year-Old Airlifted After Head-On Collision With Car

A 16-year-old riding an unregistered dirt bike without a license was airlifted to a hospital on Sunday afternoon following a head-on collision with a car in Redzyńskie.

Collision Details and Emergency Response

On Sunday, June 7, a serious accident occurred in Redzyńskie, Latowicz municipality, involving a cross motorcycle and a passenger car. Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and the Air Ambulance Service, were dispatched to the scene around 2:20 PM.

The 16-year-old motorcycle rider sustained injuries in the crash and required immediate evacuation by a medical helicopter to a hospital for further treatment.

Investigation and Vehicle Status

According to Senior Sergeant Paula Antolak of the Mińsk Mazowiecki District Police, the teenager lacked the required driving license. Furthermore, the motorcycle he was operating had no license plates and lacked mandatory civil liability insurance.

The 49-year-old driver of the car, who remained uninjured, was confirmed to be sober and in possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of the incident.

Legal Proceedings Underway

Police officers are currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the collision. The case will also be analyzed regarding the teenager’s operation of an unregistered and uninsured vehicle without a license.
