On December 6 after 10 a.m., a collision between a Renault and a Ssangyong at the Spisak–Kompania AK Kordian junction in Ursus left the driver of the South Korean‑brand car hospitalized.
Crash Details
Two passenger cars – a Renault and a Ssangyong – collided at the intersection of Spisak and Kompania AK Kordian streets in Ursus. Both vehicles were pushed off the road onto the sidewalk, damaging a traffic sign and a nearby fence.
Traffic Violation
Preliminary police findings indicate the Renault driver ran a red light, causing the impact with the properly traveling Ssangyong.
Vehicle Damage
The force of the collision was sufficient to displace both cars off the roadway; the Ssangyong also struck an adjacent fence.
Injuries and Hospitalization
The driver of the South Korean‑brand vehicle sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. The Ssangyong driver was also injured but not to a degree requiring hospitalization.
Police Inspection
Officers on scene tested both drivers for sobriety; both were sober and possessed the necessary driving licences. Further investigation will clarify the red‑light violation.
