Trump Announces International Effort to Secure Strait of Hormuz
US President Donald Trump announced Saturday that numerous countries are planning to dispatch warships to collaborate with the United States in safeguarding navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran is attempting to obstruct.
He expressed hope that China, France, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom would also participate in the operation.
Threat of Force Against Iran
“Meanwhile, the United States will be bombing the coastline and constantly shooting down Iranian boats and ships. Either way, the Strait of Hormuz will soon be OPEN, SAFE, and FREE!” the President asserted.
Iran Deemed “Decimated”
Trump also stated that Iran is “totally decimated.”
