Over 40 Polish victims of the Volhynian Massacre, exhumed in spring, will be buried in Ukraine’s Puźniki village on September 6th in a historic ceremony marking the first of its kind.
Historic Burial and Memorial Ceremony
The event marks the first commemoration of Polish victims since the massacre that took place during WWII. It honors over 40 individuals who were interred after being exhumed as part of archaeological work this spring.
