Wanted Man Arrested with Illegal Vapes and Drugs in Warsaw

Warsaw police detained a 40-year-old Ukrainian national wanted on 13 warrants, recovering illicit vapes and marijuana.

Operation Leads to Arrest of Fugitive

Police operations by the Criminal Department in Warsaw’s Wola district resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old Ukrainian citizen who was wanted under 13 warrants, totaling three years and two months in prison.

Officers focused on locating and apprehending individuals sought under arrest warrants, gathering intelligence to pinpoint their locations.

Seizure of Contraband

During the arrest in Warsaw’s Ursus district, officers searched the man’s vehicle and discovered 3,600 electronic cigarettes lacking Polish excise stamps, valued at approximately 200,000 złoty on the black market.

Additionally, officers found several grams of marijuana and a driver’s license with false personal data.

Charges Filed and Incarceration

The Economic Crime and Corruption Department gathered evidence, and the suspect was charged with possession of untaxed cigarettes, possession of narcotics, and concealing a document.

Following documentation, the fugitive was transferred to a correctional facility to serve his combined sentence of three years and two months.
