Warmth Arrives in Poland with Temperatures Reaching 20°C

Poland will experience unseasonably warm weather this week, with temperatures in the west potentially reaching 20°C.

Thursday Sunny in Most Areas

The warmth will begin to be felt on Thursday as a warm air mass moves into western Poland. Residents of western regions can expect temperatures of 10-13°C during the day. There will be plenty of sunshine across the country, though eastern areas will see slightly more cloud cover with lower temperatures around 4-7°C.

Rain-free, pleasant weather will persist throughout Poland.

Friday: Spring-Like Weather in the West

Temperatures will rise further on Friday, reaching 16-18°C in Lower Silesia and the Lubusz Land. In central, southern, and Pomeranian regions, temperatures will be 10-15°C, while cooler conditions of 4-9°C will persist in the east and mountains. Cloud cover will remain minimal except in the northeast.

Weekend: Potential for Record Temperatures

The weekend will continue with sunny and pleasant conditions similar to previous days. Due to the intense inflow of warm air and the foehn wind, there is a real chance thermometers could reach 18-20°C in Lower Silesia. Significant changes are expected only on Sunday evening when cloud cover moves in from the west, potentially bringing light rain locally.

Start of Week: More Clouds but Still Warm

Monday will bring increased cloud cover, though rain is not expected. Fog may form at night, locally quite dense. Temperatures should remain between 12-16°C throughout the following days.

Will Spring Stay?

The current warm, spring-like temperatures are expected to last for at least a week. However, numerical models occasionally indicate potential cold snaps from Arctic air masses, suggesting winter may not have concluded its influence on the weather.
