Warsaw Allotment Fire Injures One

A fire broke out around 11:10 AM at allotment gardens on Lewinowska Street in Warsaw’s Targówek district, injuring one man.

Around 11:10 AM, a fire erupted in the “ZREMB” Family Allotment Gardens on Lewinowska Street in Warsaw’s Targówek district, engulfing two summer houses and the surrounding area.

Firefighters quickly contained the blaze upon arrival, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the allotment gardens.

Man Injured Attempting to Fight Fire

A man was injured while attempting to extinguish the fire himself before the arrival of emergency services. He was transported to the hospital with burn injuries.

Firefighting Efforts

Six fire crews – five from Rescue and Firefighting Units and one from the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Wesoła – worked at the scene. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters conducted extinguishing and securing operations at the site.

Cause of Fire Under Investigation

The cause of the fire and the exact circumstances of the incident are currently unknown and will be investigated by the appropriate authorities.
