The Multimedia Fountain Park in Warsaw will launch its new season May 1st with “Great Hearts,” a show celebrating inspiring Polish figures.
Inaugural Show Dates and Times
The spectacular display of water, light, and music will illuminate Warsaw starting May 1st. The premiere shows of “Great Hearts,” prepared by the Capital Stage, will take place on May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at 9:30 PM.
A Multimedial Experience
The Multimedia Fountain Park shows are among the most spectacular outdoor events in the capital. Hundreds of water jets, dynamic fountain choreography, lasers, light, and projections on a giant water screen create a spectacle where image, sound, and water movement intertwine in an extraordinary multimedia narrative.
The synchronization of music, lighting effects, and animations makes each show an intense, emotional experience for thousands of viewers.
The “Great Hearts” Theme
This year’s “Great Hearts” show conveys a message about the power of goodness, empathy, and mutual kindness. Animations displayed on the water screen will remind viewers that even small gestures can change reality, and that goodness returns when shared.
The symbolic story will also feature prominent Polish figures associated with Warsaw – individuals whose talent, passion, and achievements have brought them worldwide fame and national pride. These include Tamara Łempicka, Fryderyk Chopin, Robert Lewandowski, and Iga Świątek.
Musical Accompaniment
The show’s musical score will feature well-known compositions from film music and popular songs by world artists. It will also include the song “Tak jak Ty” performed by Mimi Wydrzyńska, composed by Stanisław Syrewicz – a renowned composer of film and theater music.
Statements from the Capital Stage Director
“This year’s show is a story about people whose talent and attitude inspire others. We want to recall the figures of outstanding Poles associated with Warsaw – people we are proud of and who show that passion, perseverance, and sensitivity can change the world. We hope that this story told with water, light, and music will move the audience as much as previous shows,” says Andrzej Matusiak, Director of the Capital Stage.
Show Schedule and Accessibility
The shows at the Multimedia Fountain Park have attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers over the years and are among Warsaw’s most popular summer attractions for both residents and tourists. Admission to the shows is free.
Regular showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 9:30 PM in May, June, and July, shifting to 9:00 PM in August and 8:30 PM in September. Shows will not take place on June 19th and 20th due to the Wianki nad Wisłą festival.
