Warsaw Metro Line 1 Disruptions; Three Stations Closed

Technical issues have forced the closure of three Bielany stations on Warsaw’s Metro Line 1, disrupting service to the northern end of the line.

Stations Closed Due to Technical Issues

There are disruptions on Metro Line 1 in Warsaw due to technical reasons, as reported by WTP. Three Bielany stations have been taken out of service: Metro Młociny, Metro Wawrzyszew, and Metro Stare Bielany.

This means the metro does not reach the northern end of the line, and travel between the closed Bielany stations and the rest of the route requires using ground transportation. The causes and circumstances of the “technical reasons” are currently unknown.

Replacement Transportation Implemented

Replacement transportation is being launched on the closed section. WTP announces the implementation of the “ZA METRO” line on the route: Metro Młociny (stop 17) – Kasprowicza – Sacharowa – Marymoncka – Metro Słodowiec (stop 04).

Metro Line Operating on Shortened Route

Due to technical reasons, line M1 is operating on a shortened route: Kabaty – Metro Słodowiec – Kabaty.

The replacement line ZA METRO is being launched on the route: Metro Młociny 17 – Kasprowicza – Sacharowa – Marymoncka – Metro Słodowiec 04.
