Water Main Failure Causes Sinkhole on Wisłostrade

According to RMF FM reports, serious disruptions occurred on Warsaw’s Wisłostrade due to a water main failure. Services were called to the scene. However, during their work, a sinkhole at least three meters long formed on the central lane, blocking traffic. Journalists reported that the situation is particularly difficult at Torwar and Łazienkowska Street.

Multiple Water Failures Reported Across Warsaw

Warsaw Notification System informed about water failures that occurred in the area of streets: Gorzykowska and Święciańska, Dominikańska, Rydzyńska, Poczty Gdańskiej, Z. Mączeńskiego, M. Lalewicza, ppłk. Z. S. Kiedacza, Menueta, Tanecznej and Lirowea. The list of buildings affected by the failure is on the Warsaw water supply website.
