Hooligan Group Targeted in Police Operation

Warsaw’s Anti-Pseudofandom Crime Department conducted a successful operation, arresting two men linked to organized hooligan groups. One of the detainees is a 36-year-old identified as a leader of a long-standing, secretive, and dangerous group operating in Warsaw.

The group has been under law enforcement scrutiny for its involvement in drug offenses, violent assaults, and organized clashes between rival hooligan groups.

Drug Seizure on Bem District

The arrests occurred in Warsaw’s Bem district during the transfer of a significant quantity of drugs from an apartment to a vehicle. Police apprehended the 36-year-old and his 42-year-old accomplice at the scene.

The younger man attempted to flee and attacked officers but was quickly subdued.

Massive Drug Haul Discovered

A search of the apartment, used as a drug storage facility, revealed nearly 150 kilograms of narcotics and psychotropic substances, including approximately 130 kg of marijuana, 6 kg of cocaine, 3,000 ecstasy pills, 3 liters of amine, and over 12 kg of other substances. Police also seized precursors used in drug production.

Equipment and Firearms Found

The search also uncovered equipment and chemicals used for drug manufacturing, indicating a sophisticated criminal operation. Five firearms and ammunition were also seized.

Estimated Street Value and Legal Action

The street value of the seized drugs is estimated at 10 million złoty (approximately $2.5 million USD). Both men were taken into police custody and subsequently charged with trafficking and attempting to traffic significant quantities of drugs and psychotropic substances.

On the prosecutor’s request, a court ordered a three-month pre-trial detention for both suspects.

Continued Crackdown on Organized Crime

This operation is the latest example of Warsaw police’s efforts to combat organized crime, consistently removing individuals involved in criminal activity under the guise of fandom from public spaces.
