Warsaw police detained three Polish nationals, including a 23-year-old known as “Praski Doktor,” seizing nearly 4 kg of narcotics.

Drug Trafficking Operation Uncovered

Warsaw police, acting on information from an investigation overseen by the prosecutor’s office, arrested three Polish citizens involved in drug trafficking.

The operation, conducted by the Capital Police’s Anti-Drug Crime Department and the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office, focused on combating drug crime in Warsaw and surrounding areas. Investigators analyzed connections between suspects, conducted surveillance, and gathered intelligence to identify drug storage locations.

‘Praski Doktor’ Identified and Apprehended

Among those arrested was a 23-year-old man operating under the alias “Praski Doktor,” who was responsible for distributing narcotics using online messaging apps.

Police apprehended him while walking his dog. A search of his rented apartment and permanent residence revealed approximately 4 kilograms of drugs, including nearly 3 kg of marijuana and almost 1 kg of mephedrone. Equipment used for distribution, including a heat sealer, electronic scale, and mobile phone, were also seized, along with over 10,000 złoty and other valuables.

Charges and Pretrial Detention

The 23-year-old faces charges of possessing and trafficking significant quantities of psychotropic substances and narcotics. On the prosecutor’s request, the court ordered his three-month pretrial detention.

Additional Suspects Face Restrictions

Two other suspects, arrested a day later, were placed under police supervision by the court. They have been charged with trafficking significant quantities of psychotropic substances and narcotics.

Significant Drug Supply Intercepted

The police action prevented the circulation of narcotics with a black market value exceeding 200,000 złoty. These substances were primarily distributed in doorways on Brzeska, Ząbkowska, and Inżynierska streets in Warsaw.
