Warsaw Police Deploy Heavy Guard for Legia‑Sparta Prague Match

Warsaw police have positioned a large enforcement contingent around the Legia Warsaw stadium for the Legia vs. Sparta Prague European League match, to manage fan movements and ensure public order.

Police Concentrated Around Legia Stadium

A significant police force has been deployed along Niepodległości Avenue and Mokotów Park, the main gathering spots for supporters before the evening Conference League clash.

Preventing Unrest During Fan Movements

Officers are conducting preventive patrols moving fans between nearby venues and main transit points, monitoring pub areas where both fan bases congregate.

Traffic Disruptions Expected

Motorists and pedestrians should expect temporary road narrowing, stoppages, and altered routes around Mokotów Park, Niepodległości Avenue, and surrounding streets due to police activity.

Official Police Statement

The Warsaw Police Command confirmed that foot and vehicle traffic will intensify around the stadium at 21:00 and urged drivers to obey instructions, reporting any threats to authorities.

Changes to Bus Service

Express bus lines 411, 502, 514, 520, 523, and 525 will make additional stops at TORWAR 01 and 02 during the match from 19:00 on Thursday, 27 November 2025.

Special 911 Transit Route

After the match, around 22:45, a special 911 line will operate covering two routes: towards Metro Politechnika ending at LEGIA-STADION 03 and towards Wiatraczna ending at WIATRACZNA 10, with assigned stops along each line.
