Warsaw Residents Can Collect 18,000 Free Christmas Ornaments

On 20‑21 December, Warsaw residents can collect 18,000 free wooden ornaments depicting the city’s Mermaid and Palace of Culture and Science at selected Warexpo poles, as part of the city’s fifth holiday giveaway.

Holiday Giveaway Dates

On Saturday and Sunday, 20 and 21 December, the free ornaments will be available at 10:00 a.m. at selected Warexpo poles in Warsaw.

Distribution Details

The wooden ornaments will be displayed on the poles and will be replenished regularly. This event has drawn large crowds in previous years.

Design and Materials

Each ornament is carved from wood and shows the Warsaw Mermaid and the Palace of Culture and Science, suitable for decorating a Christmas tree or giving as a unique gift.

Significance for Warsaw

Organised by Warsaw City Hall, the initiative spreads holiday cheer while reminding residents of the city’s symbol icons.
