Warsaw residents will hear air raid sirens on Monday. Services are appealing for calm.

The test of the alarm siren at the Warsaw Security Center at 43/45 Młynarska Street will be conducted on Monday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the Mazovian Voivodeship press team. Three-minute continuous and modulated signals may be emitted.

Purpose of the Test

The activation of one of Warsaw’s alarm sirens on April 13th is solely for testing purposes. It aims to verify the proper functioning of alarm and public warning systems.

Call for Public Calm

“We ask residents to remain calm and take no action,” the press team noted in information about the test.
