On March 31st, a Toyota taxi driver struck a pedestrian on Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia in Warsaw, fled the scene, and then intentionally hit a motorcycle salon employee.
Initial Incident and Flight
Shortly before 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31st, a man was struck by a Toyota used for passenger transport on a side lane of Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia in Warsaw.
The driver fled the scene after the initial collision, and the injured pedestrian received medical attention before being transported to a hospital.
Deliberate Second Strike
The incident occurred near the motorcycle salons along Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia. Witnesses reported the Toyota, marked as a taxi, first collided with a promotional stand outside a store.
According to witnesses, when a motorcycle salon employee approached the vehicle, the driver intentionally struck and dragged him for several meters before driving away.
Police Response and Pursuit
Emergency medical services and the police were dispatched to the scene. Paramedics provided first aid to the injured man and transported him to the hospital.
Police initiated a search for the Toyota driver, who fled in the direction of Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia and then onto Obozowa Street. The suspect was driving a white Toyota.
Driver Apprehended
Police have detained the Toyota driver believed to be involved in the road incident on Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia. The exact circumstances of the event are currently under investigation.
