Warsaw Tram Line Disruptions Planned for Grochów District

Warsaw tram services will be rerouted on Sunday, April 19th, due to track replacement work at the intersection of Aleja Waszyngtona and Międzyborska.

Track Replacement on Aleja Waszyngtona

Tram drivers will be working at the intersection of Aleja Waszyngtona and Międzyborska, near Grochów Hospital, on Sunday, April 19th. The work involves replacing tracks and leveling the road surface with Aleja Waszyngtona.

No Turn onto Międzyborska

Starting at 0:15 AM on Sunday, April 19th, the right lane of Aleja Waszyngtona, heading towards Rondo Wiatraczna, will be closed near Międzyborska. Turning onto Międzyborska will be prohibited.

Detour Routes for Drivers

Drivers can bypass the closure by continuing on Aleja Waszyngtona to Rondo Wiatraczna and then taking Aleja Stanów Zjednoczonych.

Tram Rerouting Details

Tram services will not operate in one direction, from Rondo Waszyngtona to Rondo Wiatraczna. Line 9 trams heading towards Gocławek from Rondo Waszyngtona will travel via Aleja Zieleniecka, Zamoyskiego, and Grochowska. Line 74 trams towards Rondo Wiatraczna will follow the same route.

Replacement Bus Service

Replacement buses, designated Z-9, will operate between Rondo Wiatraczna and Rondo Waszyngtona. Line 135 buses will have a modified route, turning onto Grenadierów from Aleja Waszyngtona, only in the direction of PKP Olszynka Grochowska.

Additional Bus Stops

Line 521 buses will make additional stops at Park Skaryszewski and Kinowa.
