Water supply truck burst into flames on Mokotów’s Czerniakowska Street Tuesday morning, with the entire vehicle engulfed by fire before firefighters contained the blaze.

At 7:11 on Czerniakowska Street on Mokotów, a fire occurred in a van belonging to the Municipal Water Supply and Sewage Company in the Capital City of Warsaw (MPWiK). The fire appeared in the engine compartment area and quickly spread to other parts of the vehicle, including the cargo area.
Fire Containment
According to findings from the scene, the fire developed dynamically. When firefighters arrived on Czerniakowska Street, the fire was already advanced. The firefighting actions allowed for a quick containment of the situation and did not lead to the spread of fire beyond the vehicle.
