From 22‑23 November, Warsaw trams will experience weekend‑wide schedule changes on Ochota and Mokotów to enable electrification works, with further disruptions slated for 29‑30 November.
Changes in Ochota
On 22‑23 November, trams will not run on Grójecka and Krakowska avenues between Narutowicz Square and the P+R Krakowska loop. Lines 1, 9, and 15 will be shortened to Narutowicz Square. Replacement buses Z‑9, 141, 154, 157, and 191 will cover the affected stretches, stopping near the closed tram platforms.
Changes in Mokotów
During the first weekend of work, trams will be blocked on Puławska and Marszałkowska between Zbawiciela Square and Woronicza, and on Spręka and Goworka between Puławska and Belwederska. Lines 10, 11, 14, and 18 will not run; line 31 will operate on an extended route between PKP Służewiec and Wyścigi. Line 4 will be rerouted via Nowowiejska, Niepodległości Avenue, Rakowiecka, Boboli, Wołoską, Woronicza to Puławska before returning to its regular path. Line 19 will be diverted to the Kielecka loop.
Two replacement tram lines and two bus lines (Z‑4 and Z‑19) will maintain service: line 66 between Piaski and Cmentarz Wolny, line 78 between Górcówka Estate and Żeranie FSO, buses Z‑4 between Constitution Square and Wilanowska Metro, and Z‑19 between Central Station and the Stegny loop.
Further Work on 29‑30 November
Network works will resume at the SGH intersection and Pole Mokotowskie metro station, suspending trams on Niepodległości, Rakowiecka, Boboli, and Wołoską between Nowowiejska and Woronicza. The electrification of the new Rakowiecka track between Puławska and Niepodległości will be completed before year‑end, restoring full service.
