A wild boar running on Warsaw’s S8 road collided with a motorcyclist March 5; the boar died while the rider suffered only minor injuries.

An unusual incident occurred on the S8 road in Warsaw in the evening when a Yamaha motorcycle collided with a wild boar running on the roadway. The collision happened today, March 5, around 8:10 PM behind Aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia heading toward Poznań.
Immediate Response
According to reports from the scene, the wild boar was freely moving along the expressway. After the collision, witnesses immediately provided first aid to the motorcyclist and called a medical rescue team and police to the scene.
Motorcyclist’s Condition
Paramedics examined the motorcyclist and found no serious injuries, eliminating the need for hospital transport. Around 9:00 PM, the injured person was released by the medical team.
Aftermath
The wild boar did not survive the collision and died on the spot. Police secured the scene and the animal’s carcass until appropriate services arrived. Initially, three lanes of traffic were blocked, causing significant disruptions on the S8 road. After 9:00 PM, traffic flow was largely restored.
