A window pane from the 11th floor of the Varso Tower in Warsaw fell onto a cafe garden at ground level and a nearby parking lot on Alei Jerozolimskich.
The incident occurred on Monday morning, with the first report coming in before 11 am.
Response and Investigation
The area was immediately secured, and the building’s management is waiting for an explanation from the window manufacturer regarding the cause of the breakage.
A witness reported that fragments of glass were already on the ground in the cafe garden, and part of the damaged pane still protruded from the 11th floor.
Varso Tower Information
Varso Tower stands at 53 floors and 310 meters with a spire, making it the tallest building in the European Union.
The building was completed in September 2022, and a viewing terrace was opened in September 2025.
