Wołomin Dealer Arrested for Selling Drugs to Minors

Otwock police have arrested a 40-year-old Wołomin resident found in possession of substantial quantities of narcotics, including cannabis, amphetamine, and cocaine, with charges including distribution to a minor.

The Arrest and Charges

Otwock criminal investigators apprehended a 40-year-old man from Wołomin following an intensive operational investigation. He faces serious charges related to the trafficking of significant quantities of narcotics and psychotropic substances, as well as supplying these drugs to a minor.

At the request of the Otwock District Prosecutor’s Office, the court has ordered the suspect to be held in temporary detention for three months. He faces a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison.

A Hidden Drug Warehouse

The operation concluded with a raid on the suspect’s residence in Wołomin, where police discovered a significant cache of illegal substances. Seized items included approximately 360 grams of marijuana, 42 grams of amphetamine, 4 grams of mephedrone, 7 grams of cocaine, 9 grams of MDMA, and LSD tablets.

The recovered substances have been sent to a laboratory for further analysis. This evidence formed the basis for the formal charges brought against the suspect by the prosecutor.

The Danger to Minors

Authorities emphasized the extreme risks drug exposure poses to developing young organisms. Beyond physical health damage, substance abuse often leads to academic neglect, social withdrawal, and an increased likelihood of criminal involvement among youth.

Combating drug-related crime, particularly when it targets minors, remains a top priority for the Otwock police. The successful isolation of this dealer ensures these substances will no longer reach young people in the area.
