Around 4:00 AM on Leśna Polanka Street in Warsaw’s Białołęka, a wooden vacant building caught fire. Upon the arrival of the first firefighting units, the structure, measuring approximately 4 × 5 × 3 meters, was already engulfed in a developed fire.
Containment and Response
Firefighters applied water streams to the burning building, which allowed them to quickly control the situation and limit the spread of the fire. A total of four firefighting units worked at the scene.
Smoke and Safety
The fire was accompanied by heavy smoke that was visible from several Warsaw districts during the night hours. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
