Wrocław Police Detain Two Arrest‑Warranted Individuals

Two men, one 47 and one 38, detained in Wrocław on arrest warrants issued by regional courts, were taken into custody by the capital police force.

The capital police’s Targeted Search Team traveled to the Lower Silesian capital where the fugitives were believed to be hiding. Both the 47‑year‑old and the 38‑year‑old were subject to court‑issued arrest warrants.

First Arrest: 47‑Year‑Old Fraud Convict

On Chałubińskiego Street, officers detained a 47‑year‑old men who had a 1½‑year prison sentence on fraud pending. The arrest warrant was issued by the Poznań – Miasto and Wilda district court.

Second Arrest: 38‑Year‑Old Accident Defendant

The next day, on Kościuszki Street, the same team apprehended a 38‑year‑old who faces a 3½‑year sentence for causing an accident that killed a 3‑year‑old child. The warrant was issued by the Brzeg district court.

Detention and Transfer

After completing necessary police procedures, both men were transferred to prison facilities.
