A 49-year-old driver traveling against traffic on the S19 highway near Trzebownisko, Poland, died after colliding with two vehicles on Friday morning.
Head-On Collision and Fire
The incident occurred after 9:00 AM on Friday on the S19 road in Trzebownisko. Police determined the 49-year-old Hyundai driver was heading towards Rzeszów in the wrong direction.
The Hyundai first collided with a properly traveling tow truck, then a Lexus, resulting in a head-on impact. The vehicle subsequently crashed into barriers separating the lanes and caught fire.
Injuries and Fatalities
The driver of the Lexus sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene.
