Zelensky posted on X on Sunday 23 November, thanking the United States and President Trump for their support for Ukraine. He noted that he had spoken with French President Emmanuel Macron and that Ukrainian teams in Geneva were working with partners to bring practical results that would bring Ukraine and all of Europe closer to lasting peace and security.

He called for coordinated positions and an active diplomatic dialogue, expecting partners to listen to Ukraine’s arguments, and thanked America and Trump for their work toward security while awaiting new reports from Swiss teams.

Trump Criticizes Ukraine Leadership

Donald Trump accused Ukraine of failing to show any gratitude for American efforts and said Europe still bought oil from Russia. On Truth Social he wrote that the war in Ukraine should never have broken out, calling it a lost war for all, especially for millions who died unnecessarily.

Geneva Talks on 28‑Point Plan Continue

Negotiations involving Ukraine, the United States, Britain, France, and Germany are ongoing in Geneva over a 28‑point U.S. plan to end the war. The proposal calls for significant territorial concessions from Ukraine to Russia, limits on Ukrainian troop numbers, and Ukraine’s withdrawal from pursuing NATO membership.
