On Monday, 8 December, Marcin Przydacz, head of the International Policy Office, addressed the invitation from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that was directed to Karol Nawrocki.

He expressed satisfaction that relations with Poland remain significant for the Ukrainian president and reiterated Poland’s commitment to “good neighbourly relations based on mutual respect” with Ukraine.

Zelensky announced to journalists that he wishes to meet with Karol Nawrocki via WhatsApp, offering to choose any date and stating he would gladly attend.

He further indicated that he would travel to Poland if invited, emphasizing the importance of such a meeting for him.

Both sides are actively working in diplomatic channels to set a date for a meeting between the presidents in Warsaw, with Polish officials affirming the openness and activity of these discussions.
