Case Filed Against Kristina S.

At the District Court in Piotrków Trybunalski, charges were brought against Ukrainian citizen Kristina S. Authorities claim that the woman helped send a parcel that contained explosives.

Investigative Findings

During joint investigations with the Internal Security Agency, it was determined that in July 2024 the accused participated in sending a package via a courier service. The parcel contained devices and explosive materials in the form of nitroglycerin, along with concealed military electric detonators (a so‑called cumulative bomb). The package was discovered and seized at a courier warehouse in the Łódź region.

Additional Details

Kristina S. allegedly carried out the crime together with another Ukrainian citizen and two Russians. “If the shipment had detonated, it could have caused significant damage to critical infrastructure, breaching fuel tanks, building ceilings, or robust steel structures,” the Public Prosecutor’s Office reports. The investigation continues, and two of the four involved have been placed under provisional arrest. Kristina S. faces up to eight years in prison.
