Drones spotted over Danish military base

Unidentified drones were observed near a major Danish military base on Friday evening, marking the latest in a series of such incidents.

Incident details

On Friday, September 26, drones were detected over the largest Danish military base, following similar incidents in Aalborg and Copenhagen earlier in the week.

An officer on duty, Simon Skelsjaer, confirmed to AFP that the incident occurred around 8:15 PM (1815 GMT) and lasted several hours, with one or two drones observed outside and above the airbase in Karup.

The police have not yet identified the origin of the drones and stated they were not removed. Authorities are collaborating with the military to investigate the incident.
