Warsaw’s Debate on Nighttime Prohibition
Last week, Warsaw’s city council rejected a proposal by the Left and the Miasto Jest Nasze association to ban alcohol sales between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Earlier, a similar proposal by the city hall (suggesting a ban from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM) was withdrawn. Instead, the council approved a pilot program for two districts: Śródmieście and Praga-Północ.
Trzaskowski Pushes for Partial Ban
