Man in Bathrobe Spills Fuel at Wrocław Service Station, Sets Fire, and Drives Off

On September 26, a 49‑year‑old Wrocław resident in a bathrobe dumped gasoline, ignited it, and fled a petrol station on Odrzygłowska Street, as captured on police‑released footage.

Extremely dangerous

Police said that no injuries resulted from the incident and the fire was quickly extinguished.

Charges and arrest

The suspect was charged with creating a danger that threatened life, health, and property, and a court approved a three‑month pre‑trial detention.

Prosecutors are handling the case, and the 49‑year‑old was arrested shortly after the incident.
