Bus Driver Attacked by Male Passenger, Threatened – Who Is He?

A man attacked a Warsaw city bus driver with a gas can and vandalised the bus on October 6, 2023, near the Modlińska stop, prompting a police search for the suspect.

Incident Overview

On the evening of Oct. 6, 2023, a passenger used a gas can to assault the driver of a city bus in Warsaw, damaging the vehicle’s door. The incident occurred about 8 p.m. at a stop on Modlińska street, close to ‘Ekspresowa 02’. Police released photographs and footage of the assailant to aid in identification.

Victim and Attack Details

The attacker, estimated to be 30‑40 years old, slim build, short hair, was wearing grey sweatpants, a t‑shirt, a grey open hoodie, and black sports shoes, with a sports backpack on his back. He threatened the driver and used a gas can during the confrontation.
