Warsaw’s Tarchomin district residents have filed multiple complaints against the Talarowa Park II development after escalating noise, vibrations, and safety concerns from the 109‑unit construction project.
Residents Report Noise, Vibrations, and Safety Concerns
A resident on Talarowa Street complained that construction work starts before 6 am and ends after 9 pm, causing walls to shake, glass in cupboards to bang, and vibrations felt throughout the body. She noted doors settling and high‑volume music playing, sometimes with loud arguing between workers. The resident reported fearing the crane’s counterweight could collapse on them.
She said residents had reported the disturbances to the police and the Building Inspectorate, but “nothing changed.” She added that the latest work made it difficult to stay home, even while working remotely, citing floor shaking, glass clattering in cupboards, and broken wall plaster.
Police Interventions Recorded
Between 1 January 2025 and 8 October 2025, the Warsaw VI Police District logged nine interventions at the address, including seven for disturbances that were not confirmed by patrols. Two additional incidents involved a crane arm hanging over a complainant’s garden and building damage from crane vibrations, the latter leading to a police report of a possible crime.
County Building Inspectorate Involvement
The county set‐on‑monitoring authority for Warsaw stated it had initiated official checks on its own initiative but did not disclose the scope or findings, as such information is only available to parties involved in the proceedings.
YIT Development Defends Compliance
YIT Development, the developer behind Talarowa Park II, released a statement to Gazeta.pl affirming that work is conducted within permissible hours (6:00‑22:00) and that all construction complies with safety regulations, as verified by the county inspectorate and the State Labour Inspection.
It added that crane equipment had been certified by the Technical Inspection Office and that any counterweight or arm extending beyond the site is acceptable provided material transport stays within the designated safe zone.
