Knife Attack in Kampinos Village Leaves Woman Injured, Perpetrator Arrested

On Wednesday, October 22 at around 10 a.m., a quarrel between two women at the intersection of Chopina and Niepokalanowska Streets in Kampinos near Warsaw turned violent when the daughter stabbed her mother with a knife and fled the scene.

Incident at Chopina and Niepokalanowska intersection

A confrontation between two women erupted at about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, at the crossing of Chopina and Niepokalanowska Streets in the village of Kampinos, just outside Warsaw.

Emergency response and rescue

Local volunteer firefighters were the first on the scene and helped the wounded. An LPR helicopter subsequently arrived on the site to aid medical assistance.

Police arrest of suspect

Police Officer Ewelina Gromek-Oćwiejcz, deputy inspector of the Warsaw West County Police Command, confirmed that the assailant was apprehended shortly after she fled the scene. Law enforcement stepped in immediately, securing her custody.

Medical treatment for victim

The victim, conscious but injured, was transported by helicopter to a hospital for emergency care. She is currently in stable condition.
