A masked figure haunting Serock’s homes and peeking into windows was filmed on 22 October and shared on Facebook, sparking alarms among local residents.

On 22 October, a Facebook user in a local Serock group posted a video showing a person dressed in black with a white, distorted mask wandering around a yard and peeking inside a single‑family home’s window. The caption warned that the “guest” had been spotted on Pałacowa Street in Stasiemskie Forest and advised residents to stay alert. Comments indicated this was not the first such incident, and the case was also reported by TVN Warsaw.
Police involvement
Police received a single report and immediately visited the referenced address to conduct routine checks and identify the suspect. No footage was released that showed the individual wearing the mask and cape.
Police statement
Agata Halicka from the Legionowo County Police Command said that the area had been monitored by sector and neighborhood crews, and urged anyone with further information—such as surveillance footage from other properties or leads on the suspect—to contact the nearest police station to aid the investigation.
